Manure removal systems 2

Perfect boxes, the result of over 50 years of product development. Corton boxes are safe, incredibly strong, practical, and durable. Manufacturing in our modern factory in Kampen also makes Corton boxes competitively priced.

With a view to labor-saving stable cleaning, Corton developed a number of practical systems for the Standard and Professional boxes.

Front wall that can be swivelled away in two parts

This system can be used with a front wall with a revolving door. In addition to the access door, the fixed part of the front wall is also revolving. Both parts can rotate 180°, making this box easily accessible and allowing for individual mucking out.

Fully retractable front wall

With this system, the front wall with the sliding door can be opened as a single unit. The system is fully self-supporting, and the entire wall opens almost 180° into the barn corridor. Each stall can be accessed individually with a machine, for mucking out or other purposes.

Extendable side walls

The most effective system for mucking out a row of stalls is with extendable side walls. The side wall of each stall slides into the stable corridor. This creates temporary stalls in the corridor where you can stable the horses during mucking out. The entire row of stalls can then be quickly and efficiently mucked out with a machine. This system represents a significant time saving compared to mucking out manually.
Corton also supplies strong access doors at the end of a row of boxes, which can serve as the last box wall.

Swing-away side walls

This is essentially a combination system. On the one hand, it's useful for mucking out the stall, and on the other, two or more stalls can be quickly combined into one large one using swing-away side walls. The latter is particularly useful for housing a mare with a foal or a group of young horses. The side wall is hinged at the rear and can be rotated against the back wall.
