Durably constructed “horse-resistant” stable shutters and stable doors, for installation in the exterior walls of the stable building. A valuable investment for many years on an essential aspect of horse husbandry.
Stable doors
Horizontally split stall doors provide access to the stall while also offering the benefits of an exterior hatch.
The lower door is fitted on the inside with a galvanized kick plate. The frames of exterior shutters and doors are designed so they can be built into new walls. In wooden walls or existing masonry, they are fastened with bolts. For a safe and neat finish on the interior side of the wall and to close the wall cavity, counterframes are available.
Stall doors with boards or safety glass at the top are often used as an exit to a paddock or pasture. They are sufficiently wide to provide a safe passage for the horse. The locks, built flush into the stall doors (with an additional cylinder lock), can be operated from both inside and outside. Doors and frames are designed so that horses can hardly get a grip on them with their teeth. A matching hay rack is also available.
